Račice Beach detail
Our website is an introduction of Rogoznica, a small Dalmatian town halfway between Primošten
or between Šibenik and Split.
Rogoznica has a special appeal that considering the island and the peninsula here this town offers one of the longest coastlines on Croatia's Adriatic sea. This advantage secures that people who make their vacation in Rogoznica are spread along the several beaches and being so there is no crowded feeling here, not even during the high tourist season. As the beaches are numerous a week of vacation in Rogoznica allows you to go to a different beach every day - if you feel so. Another pro for Rogoznica is that the town is not directly by the main Adriatic road, there is an access road from the Magistrala leading to the place - with no transit traffic. Rogoznica itself is a bunch of smaller villages more or less merged into one another: the old town is situated on the once island and there are Crljina, Kopača, Staro Selo, Podruga and Lozica on the mainland.
The shores, which in their original, natural setting were almost all rocky, have been partly transformed into beaches. These beaches are covered partly with fine gravel (Miline, Art, Zečevarska), small pebbles (Šepurine, Frapa), have concrete terraces (Kopara, Gornji Muli) or are left in their original form rocky with short pebbly entrances to water (Lozica).
Accommodation is mainly offered in private apartments and rooms with the exception of a small boutique hotel, Hotel Life, on the western edge of the town and of Marina Frappa that serves sail boats. For the daily shopping needs two Studenac supermarkets, several small delis, bakeries, fishmarket, butcher's and more small shops are at the disposal of the guests. Restaurants and bars are lined up along the rivas both of the mainland and of the island.
Please browse through the pages of our websites, they contain detailed information and specifics about Rogoznica.
